500 Casino vs Shuffle at a glance

On paper the two look alike: both are crypto casinos with a sportsbook, in-house originals and a rakeback-based VIP scheme, and both are licensed in Curaçao. Underneath they come from very different places.

500 Casino began in 2016 as CSGO500, a Counter-Strike skins site, and renamed in 2021. It is run by Perfect Storm B.V. in Willemstad, still accepts CS2 and Rust skins next to crypto, and has no token. Shuffle launched in February 2023, is run by Natural Nine B.V., also in Willemstad, and built its identity around the SHFL token. Our sister site keeps Shuffle's working mirror links and a full Shuffle review; our side of the story is in the 500 Casino review.

Game library

500 Casino advertises 3,000+ slots in its page description and 4,000+ casino games from 74 providers on its loading screen, while reviews report higher figures. Shuffle says 15,000+ games, against review counts of 4,500 to 10,000. Neither total is firm, and both lobbies carry the big studios: Pragmatic Play, Evolution, Hacksaw Gaming, Nolimit City, Push Gaming, Relax Gaming and Big Time Gaming appear on both. 500 Casino also runs a Live RTP page and a 500-branded Pragmatic slot, 500 Rush, as listed. The slots guide covers its side.

Originals and provably fair games

This is where the sites feel most different. 500 Casino's in-house games come from its skins-site past: Wheel of Fortune with its four colours, a CS2-style Roulette paying 2x on red or black and 14x on green, plus Crash, Dice, Plinko, Mines, Towers, Keno, HiLo, Baccarat, Duels, CS2 Cases, Case Battles, Plinko Battles and Bonus Buy Battles. Crash, Roulette and Wheel carry jackpots. Several are player-against-player, with Duels taking a fixed 5% rake and cases a stated 10% edge.

Shuffle lists 17 originals: Dice, Mines, Keno, Limbo, Plinko, Blackjack, Coinflip, Slide, Floor Is Lava, Blitz, Crash, Hilo, Roulette, Wheel, Tower, Chicken and Baccarat. It publishes RTPs from 97.30% on Roulette to 99.48% on Blackjack with correct play. 500 Casino states around 96% for Wheel of Fortune and does not publish a full per-game table that we found. Both describe their originals as provably fair. See 500 Casino Originals.

Sportsbook

Both run sports and esports from the same balance as the casino. 500 Casino covers football, basketball, tennis, MMA, ice hockey and more, with CS2, Dota 2 and League of Legends, an event builder and sportsbook challenges; reviews report no live streaming. Shuffle adds streaming, same-game multis, boosted odds and six odds formats, and has been Sunderland AFC's sleeve sponsor since September 2026. At 500 Casino, the bonus terms rule out sports and esports bets with bonus balance. More in the sportsbook guide.

Payments and withdrawals

Shuffle lists 22 coins and tokens across many networks, including meme tokens on Solana, plus local fiat balances in a few countries such as Canada (Interac) and Brazil (Pix). 500 Casino's code holds about 19 balance types, reviews list 16 deposit coins, and it adds card, wallet and regional deposit routes depending on country. Its key extra is skins: CS2 and Rust items can be deposited from about $0.30 and withdrawn from any balance.

On the way out, 500 Casino says crypto withdrawals are sent instantly and that it does not offer direct fiat withdrawals. Shuffle claims 90% of withdrawals land in under a minute, which is its own claim. One 500 Casino rule to know: crypto deposits sit in separate coin balances that withdraw only as that coin. See 500 Casino withdrawal time and the skins guide.

VIP and rakeback

Both pay instant rakeback, so the difference is in what surrounds it. 500 Casino has no token. You earn XP by wagering, rakeback starts at Level 0 and rises every 100 levels, and 12 named tiers run from Silver at Level 500 to Supernova at 1600+. Perks listed include Friday reloads, a mid-month bonus, lossback from Silver, a birthday bonus from Emerald and Free Withdraws. The headline prizes are advertised as a Rolex at Level 1200 and a Lamborghini for the first to reach 1300.

Shuffle's table runs Bronze to Diamond (with more ranks in its site strings), sports bets earn 3x XP, and SHFL adds staking, a weekly lottery and extra VIP bonuses for wagering in the token. If a token appeals, Shuffle has the clearer case; if you would rather keep rewards in plain balance, 500 Casino's scheme is simpler. Details in the 500 Casino VIP guide.

Licence and trust

Both hold licences in the new Curaçao system and sit at the same Willemstad address on Korporaalweg. 500 Casino was banned in Sweden in November 2023 for offering its site to Swedish players without a licence; Shuffle was blocked in Thailand in October 2026 and reported a data breach through a CRM vendor in October 2025. Trustpilot shows complaints about locked accounts and held withdrawals for both. Neither is licensed in Great Britain.

Availability

500 Casino's terms exclude the United States, the Netherlands, France and Curaçao, close casino games in the United Kingdom and Australia, and say some domains are unavailable in Belgium, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Slovakia and Turkey; the list in the terms is longer and changes. Shuffle's prohibited list includes Australia, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Spain, Sweden, the United Kingdom and the United States, among others. Check both before you deposit. Mirrors help when an address is filtered on your network, not when your country is excluded, and a VPN used to hide your location breaks both sets of terms.

500 Casino compared with Shuffle

Which one should you pick?

Choose 500 Casino if skins matter to you, or if you like Wheel, Roulette and battle formats and want rakeback without a token. Choose Shuffle if you want a token with staking and a lottery, a wider coin list and published originals RTPs. If either excludes your country, neither is an option, and the 500 Casino alternatives guide explains what to look for instead.
