500 Casino vs Gamdom at a glance

Few casinos share as much history as these two. CSGO500, now 500 Casino, went live in early 2016 with skin raffles and a Wheel of Fortune. Gamdom was founded the same year as a casino community for Counter-Strike players. Both survived the 2016 squeeze on skin gambling, both added crypto, and both still accept skins today. The paths split after that: 500 Casino kept skins central with a player-to-player marketplace and its own classic games, while Gamdom leaned harder into crypto, published originals returns and a structured rewards programme.

Skins: how each handles them now

Skins are where 500 Casino stays closest to its roots. Its P2P marketplace lets players trade CS2 and Rust items directly: a deposit credits the MAIN balance from about $0.30 per skin, and you can withdraw skins from any balance. Since Valve's 2025 trade-reversal change, a completed trade sits in Trade Protected status for 7 (+1) days before the seller is credited. Gamdom lists Steam skins as one of the ways to fund its fiat wallet, next to card and on-ramp options. If skins are your main currency in and out, 500 Casino offers more; the 500 Casino skins guide walks through the trade rules.

House games and provably fair play

500 Casino's classics are the Wheel of Fortune, with gray 2x, red 3x, blue 5x and gold 50x segments, and a CS2-style Roulette where green pays 14x. Crash, Roulette and Wheel each carry a jackpot, and the range runs on to Towers, Keno, HiLo, Duels for two to four players, Case Battles and Bonus Buy Battles. Each game has a provably fair page.

Gamdom has its own Roulette, Crash and the usual dice-and-grid games, plus Pocket Dice and Twist, and publishes about 99% RTP for Dice, Plinko, Mines, Keno, Pocket Dice and HiLo. Gamdom also says the first $5,000 wagered on its originals runs at an effective 100% through 1% instant rakeback. 500 Casino gives the Wheel's return as around 96% but does not publish a per-game table in the sources we found. See 500 Casino Originals.

Slots, live casino and sportsbook

Both carry large slot lobbies. 500 Casino lists thousands of slots from dozens of providers and adds a Live RTP page; Gamdom has about sixty provider pages, including Pragmatic Play, Evolution, Hacksaw and Nolimit City. Both sportsbooks cover major sports and esports. 500 Casino's terms block its sportsbook in Israel, Singapore, the US and Latvia, and bonus balance cannot be used on it; more in the 500 Casino sportsbook guide.

Payments and withdrawals

500 Casino keeps a separate balance per coin: each coin balance withdraws only that coin or skins, while card, voucher and skin deposits land in a MAIN balance that can withdraw any coin. Its help centre says crypto withdrawals are sent instantly, with the network fee deducted, and that it offers no direct real-money withdrawal. Gamdom works the same way on the crypto side, with same-coin withdrawals from crypto wallets and a fiat wallet that can withdraw to any supported coin, and it also offers exchange-connect deposits from Binance or Coinbase. 500 Casino caps bonus conversion at 10 times the deposit and $10,000; its withdrawal limits guide lists every rule.

VIP and rakeback

500 Casino ties everything to XP levels. Rakeback is instant from Level 0 and rises every 100 levels, and twelve named tiers run from Silver at Level 500 to Supernova at 1600 and above, adding weekly reloads, a monthly bonus, lossback and, from Emerald, a birthday bonus. The monthly Royale shares a prize pool among the top 100 by XP. Gamdom pays Instant, Weekly and Monthly Rewards that do not expire, lets you take weekly and monthly rewards as a 25% larger reload spread over seven days, and ranks players through 24 Royalty Up levels. Both reward volume, so read them as a discount on play rather than a reason to play more. See 500 Casino VIP.

Licence and trust

500 Casino cites a Curaçao licence in the new OGL format, as shown on its site; we could not confirm the certificate through the regulator's portal. Gamdom runs on an Anjouan licence whose register entry was reported to show a June 2026 expiry, and some of its own pages still carry older Curaçao wording. Both operators, or their predecessors, were banned by Sweden's Spelinspektionen for serving Swedish players without a licence. In October 2026 Gamdom took its systems offline after a hot-wallet breach put at around $3 million, said user funds were safe and relaunched on 16 October with compensation bonuses. 500 Casino's Trustpilot score is reported around 3 out of 5, with complaints about locked accounts and withdrawals. Keep balances modest on either.

Availability

500 Casino does not serve the United States, the Netherlands, France or Curaçao, blocks casino games in the UK and Australia, and lists further restrictions; the list in its terms is longer and changes. Gamdom's terms exclude a wider set that includes the US, the UK, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Spain and Sweden. Check each site's current terms before signing up, and never use a VPN to get around them.
