500 Casino skins: deposit and withdraw CS2 and Rust items

500 Casino started as CSGO500 and still takes CS2 and Rust skins through a player-to-player marketplace. This guide covers how skin deposits reach your balance, how to withdraw skins, the Steam settings you need and the 7 (+1) day Trade Protected hold that Valve's 2025 rules introduced.

Does 500 Casino still take skins?

Yes. Skins are where 500 Casino comes from. It launched in 2016 as CSGO500, a CS:GO skins site with raffles and a Wheel of Fortune, and renamed itself 500 Casino in 2021. Today it is a full crypto casino with a sportsbook, but the skins side remains: you can deposit CS2 and Rust skins and you can withdraw your balance as skins.

The way skins move has changed, though. 500 Casino does not hold a big inventory of its own that you trade with. Skins change hands through a player-to-player (P2P) marketplace: one player sells an item by trading it on Steam directly to another player who is withdrawing, and 500 Casino credits and debits the balances. That design is why Steam rules, and especially Valve's 2025 trade-reversal change, shape everything below.

How a skin deposit works

  1. Prepare Steam. Your Steam profile and inventory must be public, and you add your Steam trade URL in your 500 Casino settings. The site can also ask for an optional Steam API key; only ever enter one inside 500 Casino itself.
  2. Pick items to list. The deposit screen reads your inventory and prices what it accepts. Greyed-out or unpriced items cannot be deposited, and the minimum value per skin is about $0.30, according to the help centre.
  3. Wait for a buyer. When another player withdraws one of your items, you are asked to send it.
  4. Send exactly the item shown. The site's own warning is to send only the item displayed and never to accept an incoming trade offer that asks for it. Scammers fake that step.
  5. Trade protection runs. The completed trade sits in Trade Protected status for 7 (+1) days.
  6. Your balance is credited. Skin deposits land in the MAIN balance once the hold ends.

Why skin deposits go to the MAIN balance

500 Casino keeps separate balances. Each crypto deposit sits in its own coin balance and can only be withdrawn in that coin, or as skins. Skin, fiat and voucher deposits all go to the MAIN balance instead, and MAIN can be withdrawn in any supported coin or as skins.

That makes skins a flexible way in: a deposit of CS2 items can later leave as Bitcoin, USDT or another coin. It does not make skins a way around the usual rules. The deposit still has to be played through before a withdrawal, and the account needs Level 1 and a previous deposit, as covered in 500 Casino withdrawal limits.

Withdrawing skins

The help centre says you can withdraw skins from the P2P Shop using any balance type. You browse the items other players have listed, pick what you want, and the seller is asked to trade it to your Steam account.

What to expect:

  • You need a working Steam account with a valid trade URL and a profile that can receive trades.
  • Items are whatever players have listed at that moment, so prices and stock move.
  • The seller is credited only after the Trade Protected period, but the item reaches your Steam inventory through the trade itself.

For many players skins are also the only non-crypto route out: the help centre says 500 Casino does not offer direct real-money withdrawals, so payouts are crypto or skins. The 500 Casino withdrawal time guide compares the two.

The 7 (+1) day Trade Protected hold

In 2025 Valve changed how CS2 trades work: a trade can be reversed for a period after it completes. For a marketplace that is a serious risk, because a seller could be paid and then pull the item back.

500 Casino's answer, described in its help-centre article on the new P2P Shop, is to keep every completed skin trade in Trade Protected status for 7 (+1) days before the seller is credited. During that time either side can open a dispute.

In practice this means a skin deposit is no longer instant. Plan on more than a week between sending an item and seeing the value in your balance. If you need funds quickly, crypto is the faster route.

Skins, Valve and the grey zone

Skin gambling has always sat uneasily with Valve's rules. In July 2016 Valve sent cease-and-desist letters to 23 skin sites over using Steam accounts for commercial purposes, and CSGO500 was among them; it responded that "big changes" were coming rather than closing. The US skin-gambling lawsuits of 2016 named other sites, not CSGO500, and they were dismissed.

The 2025 trade-reversal rule is the latest example of Valve changing the ground under skin sites. Further changes could alter how 500 Casino's marketplace works, so treat any guide, including this one, as a snapshot.

CS2 cases and case battles

Skins also appear inside the games. 500 Casino runs CS2 Cases, Case Battles and Bonus Buy Battles alongside its other originals. The site states a 10% house edge built into case prices, which is high next to its Dice or Wheel, so opening cases is an expensive way to chase a skin. See 500 Casino originals.

FAQ

Can I deposit skins on 500 Casino?

Yes. CS2 and Rust skins can be deposited through 500 Casino's player-to-player marketplace. The minimum is about $0.30 per item, and greyed-out or unpriced items are not accepted.

Why has my skin deposit not been credited?

Since Valve's 2025 trade-reversal change, 500 Casino holds every completed trade in Trade Protected status for 7 (+1) days before the seller is credited. A trade inside that window is waiting, not lost.

Can I withdraw my balance as skins?

Yes. The help centre says skins can be withdrawn from the P2P Shop from any balance type, as long as you have a Steam account that can receive trades.

Which balance do skin deposits go to?

The MAIN balance. MAIN can be withdrawn in any supported coin or as skins, unlike a coin balance that can only leave in the same coin.

Do I need a public Steam inventory?

Yes. The marketplace needs a public profile and inventory plus your Steam trade URL. A Steam API key is optional and should only ever be entered inside 500 Casino.

What if the other player never sends the item?

Either side can open a dispute while the trade is pending or protected. Keep the trade on Steam unchanged and contact live chat with the details.

Is CSGO500 the same as 500 Casino?

Yes. CSGO500 renamed itself 500 Casino in 2021, and csgo500.com is still one of the ten official aliases.

Can I withdraw to a bank account instead?

The help centre says 500 Casino does not offer direct real-money withdrawals. Withdrawals are made in crypto or as skins.
